🎾 Welcome to Ground Pass Tournament Guides
At Ground Pass, we’ve always encouraged our audience to get out there and experience tennis live—it’s the best way to understand the sport, connect with the players, and fall in love with the game.
But we also know that figuring out how to go to a tournament can be overwhelming.
What day should you go?
Which tickets are actually worth it?
Where should you sit? Where’s the good food?
And how do you even get there?
As someone who’s obsessed with live tennis and loves a good Wirecutter-style guide, I’ve always searched for something that brings all that together. A tennis guide that’s been there, done it, and wants to help you do it too.
Since we couldn’t find it, we’re making it.
Welcome to Ground Pass Tournament Guides.
All summer long, we’ll be publishing first-hand, easy-to-follow guides to help you plan your visit to top tennis tournaments. We’re starting with the Mubadala Citi DC Open, and guides for the Cincinnati Open and US Open are coming soon.
Mubadala Citi DC Open Tournament Guide
Later this year, we’ll add guides for Delray Beach, Indian Wells, Miami, and Charleston—each based on our personal visits, with tips you won’t find on a ticketing FAQ page.
💡 Each guide will be updated over time as things change—because they always do.
💬 Comments are open on every guide, so if you have questions we didn’t answer, or tips we missed, drop them in. Sharing is caring.
